When Rex was born, we bought Clara a toddler bed and put it in her room along with her crib. She slept in it a couple of nights before deciding she wanted to stay in her crib. We didn't want to rush her out of her crib so we bought a crib for Rex too and took her toddler bed down. At the end of June, I was talking to Clara about moving to a big girl bed and she wanted to get it out right away. That evening we got the toddler bed out of the attic and set it up in her room. She wanted us to take down her crib right away, so we did that too. She has done great in her new bed--although most nights we find her asleep on her floor. She is a little too anxious to grow up for my taste.
