Rex

Rex has been in our family for a year. It has gone by way too quickly. We took monthly pictures of him throughout his first year with the exception of his 7 month--darn. We could not love him more.

Easter

We dyed eggs for the first time as a family this year and Clara loved it. I love seeing her delight when we do new things together.

We had a terrific Easter morning at our house. I love celebrating holidays with kids. It was so fun to see Clara's delight. Along with their Easter candy, Clara got a new Tangled barbie and Rex got a Little People airplane. 

After taking some Easter pictures outside we went to Grandma & Grandpa's house for dinner and an Easter egg hunt.

Rex's First Haircut

Rex got his first haircut on April 6. We took him to Cookie Cutters and, with a lot of distraction, he did pretty well.

Cowboy Rex

We had fun taking pictures for Rex's cowboy birthday invitations. He did not want that little hat on his head.

Will you be my Valentine?

Our sweet Valentines.

Clara and I had fun decorating the house for Valentine's day and sending out our Valentines. She got finger paints as a Valentine's surprise. She was one happy gal.

The Cousins

Clara loves going to Aunt Audra's house. Several times a week Clara asks, "Audra? Tobin? Keynan? Julian?" Audra has a huge playroom downstairs and one day last week Clara said, "Audra? Stairs? Fun?" Audra's boys are so sweet to her and she is so content to play the entire time we are there. Today we went for a visit and the Halloween costumes came out. Even Rex got in on the action.
