Marathon Man

My amazing husband ran The Big Cottonwood marathon on September 22nd.  I am so proud of all of his hard work. The kids and I had a great time cheering at the finish line. Ben's sister Melissa also ran the half marathon that day but we didn't quite make it to the finish line in time to see her.

 My niece Cora came and stayed with us for a couple of days while my sister Audra and her husband, TJ, ran in the Red Rock Relay. She is a doll.

Little BYU fans. It was a hard loss against Utah this year.

Wheeler Farm

Ben got off work early one Tuesday and so we packed up the kids and headed to Wheeler Farm for the afternoon. We hadn't been for a while and we thought both kids would enjoy feeding the ducks and seeing the animals. Clara was so excited and insisted on wearing her cowboy boots since we were visiting a farm. There were tons of ducks and geese wandering all over the farm and the kids loved it.  It was pretty empty that day and we practically had the place to ourselves.

So excited she can hardly stand it.

Sleepover

Clara loves her cousin Tobin. They are good friends and when Audra came up to visit one day, Tobin stayed overnight. Since it was an impromptu sleepover, he didn't have any pajamas. He was such a good sport about wearing some of Clara's.

Wheeler Family Reunion

These girls had a blast playing in the tub together.

In August, all of the Wheeler siblings went up to Eden, Utah for a weekend family reunion. Ben's Mom rented a huge house there and we talked, ate, played games, and looked at the moon and Saturn (thanks to Paul's telescope). I married into an amazing family.

Bath Time, Splash Time

Clara and Rex love bath time. As soon as we mention the bath Rex tries to take off his clothes. This is usually followed by several minutes of naked running through the house.
